Spring in the edible garden

Herbs and Vegetables

Spring is the best season to get your herb and vegetable garden started.

The nursery has a great selection of seedlings and 10cm & 20cm sized pots.

Growing your own herbs, fruit and vegetables is fun and rewarding and allows you and your family to access produce free of chemicals. It’s also a great activity for children and grandchildren; hopefully encouraging them to eat what they grow!

Herbs not only add flavour to your meals but they also have a number of health benefits. Pick frequently to avoid going to seed. In the spring months you can successfully grow rosemary, parsley, sage, oregano, basil, chves, coriander, dill, thyme and mint.
